Chair of Pacific Business Trust, Paul Retimanu, shares with Brian Sagala 531pi that the focus of the Pacific BusinessAwards is the resilience of Pacific businesses and what the future of tomorrow will look like.

The awards which started in 1993 are an important platform which has acknowledged many amazing Pacific businesses and entrepreneurs, even more so given the tight market and added pressures.

“Our community is very young, we don’t want to have the mindset that working for someone else is the only option. How do we move that forward?” says Retimanu

“You can beat, what you can’t see. The awards are an opportunity to showcase what has been done and what can be done.How to come together and collaborate. For different businesses who may not have told their story yet to use this opportunity to do so, and for us to be proud of what they’ve achieved.”
